So both KC & l "got" cats. We admired their ability to "play hard" and to "sleep hard", to take each moment, each day, as it came, and of course, their fierce independence.
We ended up feeding and owning (i.e. being owned by) many cats from our honeymoon (such as it was) until now. And we hope to see them again in heaven, along with all of the other animals we've done our best to care for, to help.
